1. Agreement
These terms govern your use of Chaperon, a service operated by Biloa Ekoule Jules, a French sole proprietor under the micro-entrepreneur regime (“we”). By using the service, you agree to these terms.
2. The Chaperon service
Chaperon is a Paris travel concierge available through supported messaging channels. It helps travellers get local information and allows participating hosts to share useful stay information and route service requests.
3. Information and recommendations
Responses may be written or assisted by artificial intelligence. They are provided for information, may be incomplete or inaccurate, and do not replace checking with the relevant venue, provider, or authority. A recommendation is not a booking or availability confirmation.
4. Stay information
Private apartment or stay information is shared only according to the access permissions and windows configured by the host. Do not share it with unauthorized people. Travellers must follow the applicable property instructions.
5. Third-party businesses and services
Businesses, venues, and service providers mentioned are independent. Their hours, availability, prices, and terms may change. Any booking, order, or service is arranged directly with the relevant third party and is subject to its terms.
6. Messaging and third-party services
Access to Chaperon depends on the messaging channel and internet connection you choose. Those third-party services have their own terms and privacy policies. Chaperon does not guarantee their availability.
7. Acceptable use
You must provide accurate information, protect your credentials, and use the service lawfully. You may not disrupt the service, access data or accounts without authorization, or use Chaperon for unlawful purposes.
8. Prices and payments
Any applicable charges are shown before you confirm a payment. Payments, when available, may be processed by a third-party provider and are subject to its terms. A selection or request in a conversation is not confirmation of payment or a booking.
9. Intellectual property
Chaperon materials belong to their respective rights holders or are used with permission. You retain rights to content you provide and authorize us to use it as needed to provide the service.
10. Availability and liability
We work to keep the service available and correct errors, but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or the accuracy of all third-party or automatically generated information. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Chaperon at any time. We may restrict or suspend access for unlawful or abusive use, security risks, or operational needs, subject to applicable law.

Our processing of your data is described in our Privacy Policy.
13. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the service or law. Updated terms will be published on this website. French law applies, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules.
